At Solportalen, light, warmth and relaxation come together in a personal setting in the heart of Uppsala. Choose between sunbeds, infrared sauna, traditional sauna and cold plunge – with staff on site and room to unwind at your own pace.

Walk-ins are always welcome during our opening hours – no advance booking is required. If you would like to reserve a specific time, you are also welcome to call us.

Sunbeds at Solportalen
Several lie-down and stand-up sunbeds in rooms of their own, different models to choose from and staff on site. Every room follows Solportalen's shared light standard, Signature Light. Walk-ins are always welcome during opening hours. If you would like to reserve a specific tanning time, you can also give us a call.

Signature Light is Solportalen's shared light standard – a carefully composed interplay of tubes, reflectors and intensity found in every one of our sunbeds. The aim is an even, comfortable and considered experience, whichever room you choose.
Each room has a character of its own, but the light follows the same signature. So you always know what to expect.

We help you choose what suits you
Staff are available at Solportalen during opening hours. On your first visit, we are happy to guide you towards a room and session time that suits you and answer any questions about how our sunbeds and saunas work.
Before every visit, the room is cleaned and prepared so that you are welcomed into a clean, calm and inviting environment.
Sauna, warmth and a plunge
For warmth and recovery, Solportalen also offers infrared sauna, traditional sauna and cold plunge as separate bookings. Sauna is booked online through Bokadirekt, while a cold plunge is a separate or complementary experience depending on which option you choose.

If you prefer tanning standing up, there are separate stand-up models and rooms.

A cold plunge can be included with a sauna session or booked as a separate 60-minute visit for up to four people.

A Swedish wellness allowance (friskvårdsbidrag) can be used for approved sauna services, subject to the terms of each wellness provider and employer. Sunbeds are not covered by the wellness allowance.
